With 490,000 permanent residents, 170,000 industrial workers, and several universities in the surrounding area – Nanchang Pokiddo Vitality Space uses a precise 1,200㎡ layout to break the customer boundaries of a traditional children's playground, bringing families with children and university students together under one roof. Its "sports + arcade" zoning model validates Pokiddo's brand philosophy: "In Pokiddo, we not only master production, but also operations, and most importantly — profitability."

Nanchang Zhengjia Duhui Plaza is located at 1216 Ziyang Avenue, in the core area of the HighTech Zone. The surrounding area is lined with universities – Jiangxi University of Technology and Jiangxi Normal University (Yaohu Campus) are nearby, and the site sits within a prime commercial area prioritized for development by the HighTech Zone. Just 500 meters away, inside Tianhong Shopping Center, there is a children's playground centered around a castlethemed soft play area and a ball pool, which has already captured a certain share of the market.
Facing this competitive landscape, Pokiddo adopted a differentiation strategy: "offer what others do not, and excel where others offer." Instead of limiting ourselves to traditional play attractions, we expanded to include novel and interesting activities while retaining a soft play castle and ball pool, extending the customer base from children to teenagers and university students.
Based on an indepth analysis of the surrounding population structure and consumption characteristics, we precisely positioned the project as a "Family Sports & Entertainment Center," breaking the traditional boundaries of a children's playground. Given the constraints of the site area and ceiling height, we cleverly divided the space into two main zones and adopted a zonebased pricing model. This approach satisfies the needs of different customer segments while maximizing resource utilization and economic returns.
The 1,200㎡ space was scientifically divided into two main functional zones – onethird for the arcade zone, and twothirds for the sports play park.

Given the ceiling height constraint of 4.2m and the 1,200㎡ space, we adopted a zonebased pricing model separating the arcade zone from the sports play park:
Arcade Zone: Attracts university students and young people with payperplay coin pricing – flexible and efficient.
Sports Play Park: Serves families with children with allinclusive ticketing, extending dwell time.
Independent Operation & Mutual Traffic Generation: The two zones operate independently while driving traffic to each other, achieving a commercial synergy where 1+1 > 2.

Each morning began with a clear task plan. From equipment hoisting to commissioning, every step was closely coordinated and efficiently executed. After 27 days, the Nanchang Pokiddo Vitality Space was completed as scheduled.
