A builder’s crossindustry move: a 900㎡ sports playground. How did Pokiddo help him "build one for himself"? After helping others build several trampoline parks, he finally decided to build one for his hometown.
He understands construction, he understands venues, and he understands what local families like. But he never visited the factory, never saw the equipment in person, yet he dared to sign for a 900㎡ project.
Payment was stuck for two months, and customs clearance delays kept our installation engineer stranded for over a month — could this project still succeed? Pokiddo delivered with a trustbased partnership, sight unseen. This article tells the story of this project: from first contact through the website to a letter of credit payment, from customs hurdles to efficient installation — how a knowledgeable builder chose the right partner and turned a 900㎡ sports playground into a new destination for local families.
Project Type: Client‘s own brand sports playground
Total Area: 900 square meters
Core Offerings: Free jump trampoline, professional trampoline, ninja course, artistic climbing, spider wall, slam dunk, foam pit, balance beam battle, inflatable obstacle course, donut slide, mega slide, zip line, children’s soft play area
Location: South Asia
The investor behind this project has been deeply rooted in the construction industry for many years. Locally, he has already helped other investors launch several trampoline park projects. He has witnessed firsthand the strong profitability of his peers, gaining real insight into the playground market — which attractions are popular, which designs better meet local family needs — he has a clear understanding.
So, he decided to build one for his hometown.
He is not a newcomer to the industry. He knows exactly what he wants: to bring back the most popular and trendy play model from the capital to his hometown. Before the project even started, he already had clear ideas and welldefined standards.
The client found us through the Pokiddo website. Before that, he had already looked at internationally renowned brands. While browsing the case studies on our website, he saw that our project presentation and design style closely aligned with his thinking.
He never came to China to tour the factory. He learned about us entirely through our website, case studies, and online communication. He placed great importance on proposal quality, design capability, and responsiveness — which, for him, were the core criteria for judging whether a supplier was reliable.
During the comparison phase, he consulted several other suppliers and received design proposals from them as well. But in the end, he chose Pokiddo. The reason was simple: we responded the fastest, communicated most smoothly, and best understood and executed his ideas.
With 900㎡ of space, how do you ensure smooth traffic flow, clear functional zoning, and make the most of every area? The Pokiddo design team conducted extensive spatial planning in the early stages.
Overall Layout: Four Functional Zones, ActiveQuiet Separation
The floor plan below shows the first version of the overall layout, clearly illustrating the distribution logic of each functional zone. The site is divided into five core areas:
Trampoline Zone: Located in the center of the venue as the “energy core,” with ample safety buffer zones around it.
Challenge Zone (Ninja Course + Balance Beam Battle + Inflatable Obstacle Course): Positioned along the edges, with traffic flow connections to the trampoline zone.
Slide Zone: Near the entrance, using visual impact to attract visitors.
Climbing Zone (Artistic Climbing + Zip Line): Placed on one side of the venue, leveraging the ceiling height advantage.
Children‘s Soft Play Zone: A separate, quiet area kept at a distance from highintensity activity zones to ensure the safety of younger children.
3D Design Renderings: Letting the Client “See” the Future Space in Advance
During the design phase, the Pokiddo team provided multiangle 3D renderings, helping the client visualize the color scheme, equipment layout, and overall atmosphere before production even began. The renderings not only showed the appearance of the equipment but also reproduced details such as lighting, padding colors, and flooring. The client could provide feedback online, and the design team would respond quickly with adjustments — this was one of the reasons the client, despite never visiting the factory in person, was confident in the final result.

Traffic Flow Planning: Guiding Visitors Naturally Through the Entire Venue
The traffic flow was designed to follow a logic of “entrance guidance → core experience → advanced challenges → young children’s wrapup”:
Visitors enter through the turnstiles and are first drawn to the slide zone, where visually striking attractions grab their attention.
They then move into the central trampoline zone to release their main energy.
From there, they extend to the challenge zone and climbing zone on either side to meet advanced needs.
Finally, they end in the children‘s soft play zone — completing a full, satisfying play loop.
Contract and Payment: The Stability of a Letter of Credit
Given the distance and the client’s inability to visit China, we used a letter of credit (L/C) for payment. While this process took about two months — longer than standard payment terms — it provided a level of security and trust for both parties.
Customs Clearance and Installation: Turning Delays into Efficient Execution
The equipment shipment faced customs clearance delays at the destination port, which kept our installation engineer stranded overseas for over a month. Despite this setback, once the equipment arrived, the installation was completed efficiently. The client‘s local team and our engineer worked closely together, and the entire process demonstrated the strength of our remote collaboration capabilities.
This 900㎡ project once again validates Pokiddo’s core philosophy: “In Pokiddo, we not only master production, but also operations, and most importantly — profitability.”
Master Production: Highquality equipment that meets the standards of a knowledgeable client.
Master Operations: A design that reflects real market understanding and local family preferences.
Master Profitability: A sports playground built with a builder‘s precision, creating a new destination for families in his hometown.
This project is a testament to what can be achieved when a knowledgeable client and a reliable partner work together — even across continents, without a single inperson meeting.
