When a client walks in with a thick brand book on neon aesthetics, seeking to build an “adrenalinedriven” indoor playground, how do you translate a visual concept into a viable, profitable commercial space? This is the story. In Central America, Pokiddo partnered with a client across a 13hour time difference, enduring more than 10 rounds of intense design discussions, transforming a columnfree rectangular space into a neonthemed playground integrating trampolines, climbing walls, zip lines, 360degree bikes, and bowling — from concept to opening, every step was a commitment to expertise and trust.

Te starting point of this project was a brand book.
The client had a clear brand vision centered on neon aesthetics and an “adrenaline experience.” They came to Pokiddo with this brand book, hoping to transform their visual language into a truly operable, profitable indoor playground.
From June to July, both sides engaged in more than 10 rounds of intensive design discussions. Every conversation revolved around one core question: how to seamlessly integrate neon visuals with play equipment.
Challenges and Responses
Time Difference: With a 13hour time gap between the two locations, the Pokiddo team often held latenight online meetings with the client to ensure timely responses to every round of feedback.
Balancing Standards and Aesthetics: While pursuing visual impact, all equipment had to comply with ASTM safety standards — placing higher demands on material selection and structural design.
Maximizing Space: A columnfree space is an advantage, but accommodating highintensity attractions within 1,100㎡ while ensuring smooth traffic flow required meticulous planning.
The project is located in a mature coastal community in Central America, with a stable expatriate population and affluent family customer base.
The site conditions are excellent:
ColumnFree Rectangular Space: No pillars obstruct the 1,100㎡ area, offering great flexibility for functional zoning.
Ceiling Height of 5.7–6.3 Meters: Suitable for highaltitude attractions such as drop slides and zip lines.
We made full use of these conditions, dividing the space into a highintensity challenge zone, a competitive social zone, and a leisure viewing zone, ensuring that visitors of different ages and interests could find their place.

The traffic flow design follows one core principle: guiding visitors through a complete emotional curve.
Entrance → HighIntensity Zone: Visitors first enter the adrenaline zone, releasing maximum energy.
HighIntensity Zone → Competitive Zone: Gradually transitioning to teambased interactive activities, slowing the pace.
Competitive Zone → Leisure Zone: Finally reaching rest and party spaces, naturally concluding the visit.
This “thrilltorelaxation” traffic flow design not only effectively manages crowd density but also encourages visitors to explore all areas, thereby extending dwell time and increasing per capita spending.

The design team‘s core concept is: “Where Gravity is Optional, Fun is Mandatory.”
Visual Integration
Neon lighting is combined with industrialgrade play equipment to create an immersive “retrofuturistic” atmosphere. Every light is not just decorative but interacts with the equipment’s functionality — for example, the neon tubes on the drop slide change color with the speed of descent.
Spatial Strategy
Zoning is based on activity intensity:
HighIntensity Zone: Drop slide, zip line, 360degree bike, etc., concentrated in the area with the best ceiling height.
Social & Competitive Zone: Glowinthedark bowling, ninja challenge wall, etc., suitable for group interaction.
Leisue Zone: Seating areas, viewing areas with clear sightlines, making it easy for parents to supervise.
Accessibility Design
All pathways comply with ADA accessibility standards, ensuring that visitors of all abilities can enjoy the playground‘s fun.

The equipment mix in this project closely revolves around two key themes: “adrenaline” and “social competition.”
Adrenaline Zone
360Degree Bike: Magnetic resistance track, weightless rotations — challenges courage and balance.
Drop Slide: A 6meter vertical drop, paired with semitransparent neon tubes whose lights change with the speed of the slide.
Zip Line: Soaring over a foam pit, delivering a “flying” thrill.
Social & Competitive Zone
GlowintheDark Bowling: Neon lanes + motionsensing scoring system, giving a traditional sport a fresh new feel.
Ninja Challenge Wall: Moving obstacles + timed challenges, perfect for teaming up with friends for headtohead competition.
Classic Trampoline Zone
As a foundational offering, this zone complements the other attractions, ensuring that visitors with different preferences can all find something enjoyable.

Design Finalization: 30 days, over 10 rounds of client confirmations, final plan locked in.
Equipment Production: 45 days, ASTM standard production, quality checks throughout.
OnSite Installation: 40 days, zero safety incidents, delivered on schedule.
Throughout the process, the Pokiddo team maintained close communication with the client, ensuring that every detail moved from the “brand book” into reality.
