Project Name: Design Case of a 5-15-Year-Old Children's Play Center in Poland
Project Area: 375 square meters (sqm)
Site Height: 5.2-6.6 meters
Designer: POKIDDO
Project Location: Poland
In Poland, as families' demand for children's outdoor and dynamic entertainment grows, immersive play spaces tailored for 5-15-year-olds have gradually become a market highlight. Designed by POKIDDO, this project leverages a compact 375-square-meter site and the advantage of a high ceiling (5.2-6.6 meters) to integrate a variety of dynamic and exciting play facilities. It not only meets the safe exploration needs of younger children (5-8 years old) but also provides physical challenge scenarios for older children (9-15 years old). Through a customized color scheme of deep purple, light blue, and white, combined with two core highlights - "Leap Slide" and "Rainbow Rope Net Maze", it creates a play center with both visual impact and play fun. Meanwhile, with precise facility combination and operational planning, it ensures a considerable return on investment (ROI) for investors.
Adapting to the Needs of the Target Age Group
Stratified design is carried out based on the physical differences and interest preferences of 5-15-year-olds: the area for 5-8-year-olds focuses on safe interaction and basic physical exercise, while the area for 9-15-year-olds emphasizes high-difficulty challenges and social collaboration. This ensures that children of different age groups can obtain suitable play experiences, expanding the coverage of the customer base.
Creating Atmosphere with Characteristic Colors
A customized color scheme is adopted, with deep purple setting a tone of mystery and vitality, light blue adding a sense of freshness, and white serving as a transitional color to balance the visual hierarchy. These three colors not only form distinct identifiers in each area but also stimulate children's enthusiasm for play through color matching. At the same time, they conform to the aesthetic needs of Polish families for "fashionable yet childlike" designs.
Driving Traffic with Core Highlights
Taking "Leap Slide" and "Rainbow Rope Net Maze" as the core attractions, the project amplifies the experience of the facilities by leveraging the advantage of the high ceiling. It forms a memory point in the local Polish play market through differentiated design, enhancing the project's popularity and revisit rate, and providing core support for profitability.
Shoe-Changing Area
Custom lockers and shoe-changing cabinets serve as a buffer zone at the entrance. The floor is covered with non-slip mats in a wide blue and white stripe pattern. Shoe-changing benches are provided to facilitate the independent changing of shoes and socks for children aged 5-15. The rational layout of the space avoids congestion at the entrance and improves process efficiency.
Rainbow Rope Net Maze
Taking advantage of the maximum height of 6.6 meters, a three-dimensional rope maze was created. Using white galvanized pipes as the base frame, dark purple and light blue knots are interspersed to create a colorful visual effect. Inside, multiple obstacles, including climbing nets and drilling passages, are incorporated. This not only trains physical coordination and spatial judgment, but also stimulates curiosity through "maze exploration," becoming one of the project's signature features.
Dry Snow Slide
Located adjacent to the Rainbow Rope Maze, the slide features dark blue and white dry snow materials, flanked by light blue railings for safety. Customized snow rings enhance the speed and thrill of the ride, creating a closed-loop circulation system with surrounding facilities.
Leap Slide
A key highlight of the project is the "high-altitude leap" experience, designed with a 5.8-meter height. The main slide features a light blue track. The curved track creates a "temporary weightlessness" sensation during the slide, ending at a dark purple cushioned inflatable cushion with custom graphics. Suitable for children aged 9-15, this thrilling and safe experience has become a key attraction.
Ninja Challenge Area
With a dark purple theme, the park features a balance beam, rope bridge, climbing frame, and obstacle course. Cushioned floor mats and ninja motifs enhance the atmosphere. Children are challenged to master physical skills and techniques to complete the challenges, cultivating resilience and teamwork. Competitions can also be organized to enhance the fun.
Trampoline Area
It includes three functional modules: Pat-to-Play, Spider Wall, and Interactive Trampolines. Light blue trampoline mats are laid on the ground, and white protective nets are installed around. In the Pat-to-Play area, deep purple target boards are set above the trampolines, and children can trigger light and sound effects by patting the target boards while jumping. The Spider Wall adopts a deep purple sticky wall, paired with white cartoon-shaped clothing, allowing children to stick to the wall after jumping. The Interactive Trampolines are embedded with a sensor system, and dynamic effects such as light blue ripples and stars are projected on the ground when jumping. The entire area is suitable for 5-15-year-olds of all ages, enabling them to release energy and enhance participation through interactive gameplay.
All facilities meet TUV testing standards: the Rainbow Rope Maze's rope nets have undergone rigorous load-bearing tests, and the edges of the dry snow slide and flying slide are smoothed. The dark purple, light blue, and white paints are all environmentally friendly and non-toxic, releasing no formaldehyde. Electrical equipment (such as the Paipai Le sensor system) is sealed with anti-leakage protection to ensure the safety of children aged 5-15. Regular inspections and maintenance are also carried out to ensure operational stability.
Meeting Polish Market Demand
Polish families' consumption on children's entertainment tends to "physical exercise + fun experience". The facility combination of this project not only meets the vitality needs of 5-15-year-olds but also conforms to local aesthetics through characteristic colors and core highlights, filling the market gap of "lack of differentiated design" in small and medium-sized play centers in Poland.
Core Highlights Driving Traffic
The differentiated design of "Leap Slide" and "Rainbow Rope Net Maze" can form a word-of-mouth effect through social media promotion, attracting families from all over Poland to come for experience. At the same time, cooperation with local schools and communities can be carried out to organize parent-child activities, expanding the scope of the customer base.
Efficient Profitability Ensuring ROI
The compact 375-square-meter space realizes the layout of multiple facilities, reducing operating costs. The main source of income is ticket revenue, supplemented by value-added services such as the sale of themed peripheral products and birthday party venue rental. Combined with the high revisit rate and customer flow, it is expected to recover the investment cost within 1.8-2.2 years, bringing stable returns to investors.
The design of the 5-15-year-old Children's Play Center in Poland is POKIDDO's precise implementation to meet the needs of the Polish market. Through customized color schemes, core highlight facilities, and stratified design, it not only meets the play and growth needs of children but also builds a clear profit model for investors. With its differentiated advantages, the project is expected to become a popular choice for family leisure in Poland, promoting the upgrading of the regional children's play industry towards "characterization and high quality".
