Project Type: Client’s own-brand family playground
Total Area: 800 square meters (double-layer structure, 400㎡ per floor)
Ceiling Height: 3 meters clear
Core Theme: Koala theme Location: Middle East region
In an 800㎡ venue in the Middle East with a clear height of only 3 meters, Pokiddo used a smart “split-level, zone-specialized” design to divide the space into two levels of 400㎡ each. From the interactive play and party spaces on the first floor, to the themed scenes and open world on the second floor — connected by an internal staircase — the client‘s brand mascot, a koala, runs throughout the space, weaving together double the fun and turning this low-ceiling venue into a vibrant center for family joy.

The designers followed the principle of ”age-appropriate zoning + connected traffic flow” to maximize the value of each 400㎡ level.
First Floor: Focus on Toddler Friendliness and Social Interaction
The ground floor is centered on toddler-friendly activities and social interaction, with all facilities designed to fit the 3m ceiling height:
Mini Trampoline Zone (80㎡): Fitted with 12 mini trampolines only 0.6 meters high, featuring light blue trampoline mats and koala-patterned padding, allowing children aged 3–6 to jump safely. Parent rest benches are placed around the zone for easy supervision.

Interactive Experience Cluster:
Interactive Sandbox (30㎡): When children touch the sand, projections display patterns of koalas, coconut trees, and other images; shifting sand triggers jungle sound effects, turning digging into an adventurous game.
Interactive Slides (2 lanes): 3-meter-long rainbow slides have embedded lights on both sides; when a child slides down, koala paw-print lights appear, and the landing pads at the bottom are covered with cartoon elements.
Interactive Projection Wall (full wall): Projected dynamic games such as “Koala Picking Fruit” and “Ocean Treasure Hunt”; tapping patterns triggers animations and supports up to 10 children interacting simultaneously.
Party & Gathering Center (100㎡): This multi-functional area features modular tables and chairs and a koala-themed backdrop, accommodating up to 20 people for parties. A small snack bar and lockers are located in the corner; on regular days, it transforms into a friends’ social corner for children to play freely.

Second Floor: Themed Immersion and Exploration Space
The 400㎡ area, reached via an internal staircase, has been transformed into a growth-themed playground with scenographic design:
Indoor Play Area (150㎡ combined space): Play structures are 2.6 meters high, with yellow-and-white climbing nets simulating “koala tree hollows,” and a pink slide leading into a ball pit for children aged 6–12 to jump and climb. Infants and toddlers aged 0–3 can crawl and play with balls in a light purple padded area; barriers are 1.1 meters high, allowing parents to interact by simply bending down.
Role-Playing World (4 themed spaces on the west side, each 40㎡): All are open-plan designs with ceiling heights kept under 2.8 meters:
Princess Room: Pink and white peaked ceiling with koala princess illustrations; mini vanity and crystal lights are tucked into the overhead space — dreamy without feeling cramped.
Supermarket: Shelves display toy products; a koala checkout counter paired with a blue sky and white cloud painted ceiling recreates a lifelike shopping scene.
Music Room: Blue walls with cartoon musical notes embedded; a koala plush toy accompanies children at the piano; low cabinets provide storage and save space.
Arts & Crafts Room: Wooden workbenches with adjustable easels (up to 1.5 meters high); koala-themed toolkits spark creativity.

Central Free-Play Zone (100㎡ core area): Equipped with light gray anti-slip mats; colorful floor markings divide areas into a storytelling circle and a game track. A 1.2-meter-high koala-themed interactive stage hosts regular games, with surrounding seating for easy parental supervision.

During handover, the Pokiddo project team personally went to the site. They inspected every piece of equipment, explained every interactive feature, and conveyed the design‘s original intention to the local team.
When the project manager saw the happy smiles of the children playing in the space, the months of hard work and dedication all felt worthwhile. The space was vibrant, the atmosphere was warm, and the koala theme brought the joy of play to life.
This 800㎡ project once again validates Pokiddo’s core philosophy: “In Pokiddo, we not only master production, but also operations, and most importantly — profitability.”
Master Production: Breaking the limitation of a 3-meter ceiling height with a double-layer design.
Master Operations: Precise targeting of customer needs with age-appropriate zoning.
Master Profitability: Double-layer zoning doubles the playable area, increasing the site‘s commercial value and ROI.
