This indoor kids park is located inside an university campus in Manila, spearheaded by Ms. B, the campus development director. The goal was to create a safe, fun, and educational play space where young children could develop motor skills, social cognition, and creativity through play.

After discovering POKIDDO’s innovative designs at the Canton Fair, Ms. B found that our kids indoor playground solutions perfectly matched the university’s vision—combining physical play (climbing, sliding, ball pits) with role-playing (career-themed zones) to foster early learning in a playful environment.

Ⅲ. From Design to Reality: How POKIDDO Built This Indoor Kids Park

Through in-depth discussions with our client Ms. B, we established the playground's core concept: creating a safe, educational, and entertaining space for children aged 2-7. Aligned with the university's high standards, we strategically integrated learning elements with play activities to ensure children develop physical abilities, creativity, and social skills while giving parents peace of mind.

3.1 Age-Appropriate Design & Educational Integration

Dedicated Play Zones: Customized layouts for different age groups (2-4 and 5-7 years) to ensure safety and developmental appropriateness.

Role-Play Areas: Four themed setups (e.g., mini supermarket, kitchen, hospital and coffee shop) to enhance social cognition and teamwork through simulated scenarios.

Adventure Play Structures: slides ball pits and interactive wall game designed to boost balance, coordination, and sensory stimulation.

Interactive Learning Tools: Open-ended toys like building blocks and musical instruments to spark creativity and cognitive development.

Given the 2.6-meter ceiling height, we:

Optimized structural designs to maximize space efficiency without compromising safety.

Selected low-profile yet engaging equipment (e.g., compact slides and ball pools) to ensure full play value.
