Pokiddo Creates a 50-square-meter Climbing-Themed Playground for a Venezuelan Restaurant:

Contrasting Red and Black Ignite the Vertical Space

Next to a restaurant in Venezuela, Pokiddo has created a surprising twist within a confined 50-square-meter space with a clear ceiling height of 7.38 meters. This area has been transformed into a children's playground centered around rock climbing. The red and black color scheme contrasts with the vibrant lighting strips, creating a vertical extension of the rotating climbing wall, a double-sided art climbing wall, and three to four illuminated rock climbing routes. This not only satisfies children's athletic instincts but also creates an eye-catching "vertical play landmark" next to the restaurant.

Three climbing modes unlock three-dimensional fun within 50 square meters.

The designers leveraged the 7.38-meter ceiling height to vertically divide the functional areas into layers, creating a challenging space.

1. Rotating Climbing Wall:

A 3-meter-tall rotating cylinder stands in the center of the venue. Its black surface is dotted with red rock points, creating dynamic difficulty as it rotates. A black protective net surrounds the cylinder, and a black mat connects to the bottom, enhancing the visual impact while ensuring safety.

2. Double-Sided Art Climbing Wall:

Both sides feature 4-meter-high climbing areas. Red lines outline geometric patterns on the black rock, and the climbing points are graded by difficulty (suitable for children aged 4-12). Light strips are hidden along the edges of the rock walls. At night, the red climbing points and the black rock walls create a striking contrast of light and shadow, resembling a three-dimensional art installation.

The red and black aesthetic combined with safety design create an extraordinary experience in a small space.

The red and black color scheme, beloved by customers, is balanced through controlled proportions: black accounts for 60% (on the floor mat, rock base, and protective net), setting a cool and austere tone; red is embellished (40%) in the form of rock points, rock lines, and light strips to avoid visual oppression. The all-black floor mat is made of 5cm thick high-density foam, with red anti-collision strips wrapped around the edges, which not only echoes the theme but also enhances the cushioning effect.

Through the floor-to-ceiling windows, guests in the restaurant can directly see children playing on the rock wall. Rock climbing is no longer an out-of-reach sport, but a tangible parent-child interaction scene. One parent said with a smile, "My child is sweating profusely while climbing, and we can still take care of him while we have coffee in the restaurant. This combination is really thoughtful!"

A 50-square-meter space offers endless possibilities thanks to its 7.38-meter ceiling height. Pokiddo's vertical design defies the stereotype that "area dictates experience." Through focused themes and vibrant colors, Pokiddo demonstrates that even small spaces can become a must-visit destination for families.
